The buzz on the music scene is new artist, Brian C. Wilson. Brian recently signed with Spirit Rising Music/ Music World Music founded by notable music mogul Mathew Knowles (Beyonce, Destiny’s Child, Trin-i-tee 5:7).
Called the ‘Neo-Sacred’ voice of the label, Brian’s style ultimately defies description but brings to mind artists like Donny Hathaway and Fred Hammond.
He is a featured artist on Vol. I: TOUCH (Spirit Rising Music) and also a published songwriter contributing to the United Methodist Hymnal Zion Still Sings (due to be released this year).
“I feel I have done my best work in a song when I can successfully combine human honesty with God’s truth,” says Brian. He gives credit for his growing success to God and the overwhelming support of his family and shares that, “My wife and children are the reasons I am walking this out.” Brian is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. He walked away from 7 years in the pharmaceutical industry to take this leap of faith into music. He attributes his current acclaim to simply singing sincerely on Sunday morning.
