Bebo Norman was an independent artist before that tag was even cool - playing coffeehouse shows, selling CDs out of the trunk and then online. Over the course of Bebo's career so far he has sold over 500,000 albums and continues to be a strong CCM name at radio and on the touring front. Bebo is now scheduled to release his new album still rooted in the tuneful sensibilities of artists like James Taylor and John Mayer, he is confidently stretching the musical arrangements to his often worshipful melodies. "Stylistically it's a bit more modern, keeping melodies real simple and focusing on instrumentation…experimenting with different sounds." As far as theme Bebo comments "There are several people around me in dark throes and desperately clinging to Christ in the midst of it…And they all love the Lord. It's a reminder that real life happens to believers and unbelievers alike. Rain falls on the just and the unjust." An amazing career so far, Bebo delivers his 7th studio release with singles "Pull Me Out," "Britney," and his latest #1 single "The Only Hope".

Bebo Strikes Again| Posted September 09, 2008
Bebo Norman has remained consistent from his first independent record, "Fabric of the Verse" all the way through his last album "Between the Dreaming and the Coming True." Once again, his self-titled album lives up to his standard for excellence—lyrical depth, powerful messages, and superb melodies makes this a must-have album for any Bebo fan. For those who have not been fortunate enough to have heard Bebo before, will find this album a welcome experience. Bebo has a gift for making his music an open door that all who walk by are welcome to enter, put their feet up, drink a cup of coffee, and stay awhile.
Just fantastic!| Posted September 09, 2008
I guess I characterize and judge Bebo's music on a different plane than some - I'm not Christian or anything of the sort, but I thoroughly enjoy the passion and conviction he puts in his music. Production wise, it's a lot better than his last album, in my opinion, since I'm not a fan of the folky sounds on 'Between the Dream'. A little Pop does Bebo good. Lyrically, it's Bebo - his writings are phenomenal, and I am very prepared to call him the greatest songwriter I know of. It can't get much better than this for me.

I liked this album very much and I would like to listen to it again. I personally don't like heavy metal or rap Christian music. This album for me was very pleasant to listen to.
