If You Don't Have It, Buy It. If You Do Have It, Buy 4 Songs | Posted August 07, 2007
The reviewer below me said you should buy the five new songs off the album if you already own it. Let me correct that, out of the six new tracks, you should only buy 4. The acoustic versions are good, not exactly for the punk fan, but for the pop/rock fan, buy it. The other two tracks are fillers, Jason Dunn speaking in French? Please, I've seen some pitiful bonus material, but this takes the croissant. The other track you shouldn't buy is the introduction to "My Generation" which tells the basic information about the song. Hawk likes the Who, and they played it on a now cancelled TV show, big deal. The cover is OK, not a big fan of The Who, but hey, it's OK.

I bought this album not having the original album, so I was pleased that I waited. Now, why can't the band keep putting out more bonus material for their new album? Pet peeve maybe, but buy this edition if you don't own the album. If you do, buy the non-useless material off I-Tunes.

Letters to the President: Deluxe Edition | Posted May 27, 2011

This would definitely be the version of this release to pick up for any fan of the band. Adding 7 additional tracks to the previous 14 makes this a great bonus edition. The acoustic tracks make for a nice touch and slight variance from the standard pop/punk sound of the rest of the album.

Pretty good | Posted June 02, 2010
This is a pretty good album, not the best of Hawk Nelson. The only thing I like about the deluxe edition is the acoustic songs, but I could do without the rest of the bonus tracks Awesomest song on the album is California, can hardly listen to it without singing along. Letters To The President has some great songs on it, and some songs that I could do without. All in all a good album.

My Fav! | Posted October 22, 2007
Hawk Nelson is my favorite band.
This cd was their first,
I love the song "Take Me".
It's really amazing, I like all the songs, it's rare that I ever find a cd that I can listen to without skipping songs. Lead singer Jason Dunn, has an amazing voice. And the singer/songwritter Trever Mcneaven(sorry if I spelt his name wrong)
helped write, alot of these songs, and even sings in one of the songs (like a race-car).
The song "Recess", helped them get the role in the 2005 movie "Yours Mine and Ours", because of the sound, but they needed words for the sound so that's why the song sounds like the same tune to "Bring Em Out", off the "Smile it's the end of the world" album!Great cd 5 stars!
