I loved this album. Most of the songs that are part of this album are my favorites. Everytime I listen to these songs, I really feel the touch of God. I would highly recommend this album to anyone who wants refreshment and so hungry of the Lord.
Kari is so anointed and this album is really powerful because it is filled by the presence of the Lord. Those who are empty inside, soaking and worshiping with these worship songs is really an increase of our spiritual growth.

I've loved Kari Jobe I first heard her sing "Revelation Song" in 2004 back in her days at Christ for the Nations Institute. The Holy Spirit emanates every song she sings!! Her passion for the Lord shines so bright, & her heart for hurting people is so evident in her lyrics and through her ministry!! Her beautiful, pure tone is a gift from God!! Kari really has a way of drawing you into the presence of the Lord with her music. You must get this cd!!! You will most definitely be blessed!
"The voice of an angel"| Posted August 04, 2011
Simply put you will not find a more angelic voice than that of Kari Jobe, every track on this CD is an intimate glimpse at our Lord and Savior. With songs that are Sunday morning anthems like "Healer" and "I'm Singing" all the way to the encouraging "You are for me", there is absolutely no filler in this CD. Perfect for prayer and meditation, this CD is ideal for your personal quiet time with God, and is worth every penny, God Bless!

Breath Of Fresh Air| Posted May 25, 2009
Kari Jobe's new CD "I'm Singing" is a must buy. Her debut cd is truly a breath of fresh air. It is certainly a nice break from the whole "hillsong" sound that is being played at practically any church one attends. I for sure give it 5 stars on originality.
"I'm Singing" is a soft pop/easy listening genre, which is what Ms. Jobe has been singing since her days at CFNI. Ms. Jobe certainly deserves two thumbs up for staying true to her style of worship and for not compromising to sound like someone else.
Practically every song in this cd can be used and sung during the transitional, worship, altar, or prayer part of service. It ministers to the heart and spirit and uplifts. These are very intimate songs straight from the heart of Kari unto the Lord. Again, this cd is a must buy.
As far as the Spanish version of "I'm Singing", the translations are very well done. The problem with translating a song from one language to another ususally results with the loss of the message or essence the song was trying to portray in the first place. However, with "Le Canto" the spanish translations are smooth, understandable, they make sense, and most important, they do not lose their essense. Nevertheless, the I was disappointed with the Spanish verison of "Healer". The Spanish version of "healer" seems like there was not too much careful thought or planning on how to make the song flow properly. The song seems jumbled and awkard in Spanish. Other than "Healer" the rest of the songs are great.
Introducing Kari Jobe| Posted March 15, 2009
One would never think such sweet, tender vocals would be behind a female worship leader. Then there was Kari Jobe. Although Jobe has a worshipful background, her debut is more of an AC album. Don't get me wrong...the songs sure are worshipful, but it's more of a CD you would turn on while sitting on your back porch on a summer day to relax. Kari's style of worship is more of an almost easy listening genre, instead of the normal congregational worship.
"Kari Jobe" is a huge breath of fresh air in the crowded genre of worship music. Her soft, lite pop style may not perfect for everyone, but it's one of those albums you have to be in the mood for, if you catch my drift. I have found myself listening to it while walking. It's especially refreshing for me on the warmer days we've had this year already.
Although the album may seem to become a bit monotonous toward the middle, since you can only go so far with soft pop music, for me it was a nice, fresh album. Let's face it, I'm just not really a fan of slow music. I like upbeat music that gets your blood pumping. But this is a nice relaxation CD.
The songs may sound too alike to pinpoint a lot of highlights, but it does have some. The first song, "I'm Singing," is about as upbeat as this album gets. The gorgeous "Beautiful" and "My Beloved" are also highlights. And although there was the whole controversy behind Hillsong's "Healer," it's still a great song whether Michael what's-his-face was proved a scam. It may have been written and performed with the wrong mindset, but no need to put such a beautiful song to waste when someone else could sing it with a genuine heart of praise---which is exactly what Kari does.
Though this album may not suit everyone's musical fancy, Jobe's debut breathes a certain new life into worship music that hasn't been heard in a while. This is definitely one to watch...
