The band's 'I'll Find You There' slipped out in '92 but this is much, much better and at least one cut, the towering ballad "I Believe In You", is a minor masterpiece. Another standout is the US radio hit "Take My Hand". Bluesy, gutsy pop-rock with plenty of radio-friendly hooks, occasional hints of Eagles-style country rock and lyrics which speak truth without resorting to cliché. A quality album from the Maranatha family, now absorbed into Word. Maranatha once pioneered Jesus pop rock in the 70s. With albums like this it's clear they've still got the ability to compete in today's competitive CCM marketplace.
