Anvue's first full album, Revelation, brings a unique mix of acoustic and folk guitar with powerful contemporary vocals. With gospel and pop influences, the melodies are truly unheard and the message - powerful. Expanding on the established base of acoustic driven folk music, the albums adds a full band to all tracks, and a decidedly different feel to the songs.
Revelation opens the album with a catchy hit and the pop/country influences continue into the second song, Somebody. Widely considered as a staple of every Anvue show, Somebody hints at the larger meaning of the band's message and mission. The album continues to pick up steam as it leans more towards acoustic rock and gospel influences with tracks such as Absolutely Yours and Show Me You.
