Dan's 2009 offering, The Listening EP represents a matured sound for Dan, who teamed up with producer Nathan Nockels (Chris Tomlin, Passion, Tim Hughes) to record this sophomore project. With three songs and a radio edit it's your perfect entry level introduction to Dan.

A short EP of works from Dan featuring 3 songs in total with the 4th track being a radio edit. I honestly didn't feel that any of the songs on this release really grabbed me or made me want to re-listen to them. The lyrics were worshipful and Christ focused, but I just honestly didn't care for the arrangements overall.

At my first listen, Listening was the only song that stood out to me. However, after a few more listens I began to like the other songs as well. It takes some time to grow on you but it's good enough to make me want to buy his full album and give it a try.

I have the newly released listening EP, as well as Macaulay's "Captured Again" CD. Both are awesome...you won't be disappointed. If fact, you'll be carried away by the anointing in these songs. All the best to Dan and his family as they continue to launch into a greater arena of influence.
