A rock 'n' roll supergroup, or for some a heavy metal dream team. Project: Driver is a sophisticaded, melodic metal affair that features some of the finest playing in the genre. Sarzo and Aldridge lay down an excellent basis that allows all the members to shine. Of course the crowning achievement here is Rob Rock's stunning vocals. Rock's vocal melodies are memorable and give the music the hook it needs to bring this rocker back time and time again. If you listen to this CD as a collection of songs, rather than listening to it for the guitar wankery, not only will you hear a CD full of great songs but you will also hear some excellent musical skills as well.

"Warrior", "Fly Away" & "I Believe In Love" engineered and mixed by Mikey Davis
This Driver line-up recorded the Driver EP with Paul Sabu and Mikey Davis, respectively, released after Greg and Butch
were already out of the band. Did a bunch of shows around L.A. (at the Troubadour, FM Station a.o.) showcased for
labels, and played Foundations Forum in the fall of 1989.
"Warrior" was a song originally written by Rob Rock & Chris Impellitteri when they were in Vice (pre-Impellitteri)
together. Rob then took the song with him to Driver who recorded it (released on the album "Network Tune Up Unsigned
#10" promotional CD, dated September 25, 1989, re-titled "I'm A Warrior"). When Rob re-joined Chris in Impellitteri in
early 1991 they recorded it for their Answer To The Master (1996) album, out on JVC/Victor and Music For Nations in
Europe.
