Fresh off the heels of her critically-acclaimed debut album, Say It, rock/pop artist Britt Nicole was back in the studio crafting her highly anticipated sophomore release, The Lost Get Found, in 2009. Filled with high-energy tracks, extremely catchy hooks, top 40 beats and lyrics that delve into the heart of real issues facing the youth of today, The Lost Get Found is an album that has drawn praise from tastemakers, youth, and radio alike.
Carefully constructed as a vessel, The Lost Get Found in Britt’s words is ”... simply about being who we are called to be as Christians, and through that, seeing the lost get found. I believe that when we become who we are called to be, the lost will come to know God. They will see that God is real, and that His love is greater than any problem, any fear, any sickness.”

The title song is my absolute favorite off this album (I must've voted for it 10 times on Air-1's Insider), but I like the interesting idea of "Headphones" and the surrender theme in "Have Your Way". Britt did a great job!

Here again is another artist that has done exceedingly better with a cd following their debut album. There were 3 songs on there that I enjoyed...but this one has so much deeper meaning, while at the same time being fun. It is definitely an enjoyable cd. With very uplifting songs, and some very fun ones as well :) Oh and a cute one too..."Like a Star"

I don't know about any one else, but personally I think that this album is better than her debut. The sound is more mature on The Lost Get Found but you still get the catchy tunes and great lyrics. Like her first album, Say It, Britt's second release has a variety of 'themes' and 'messages'. From making new believers, The Lost Get Found, to messages of encouragement, Headphones. This album is a great addition to any music lovers collection.
Sophomore album!| Posted August 12, 2009
The Lost Get Found has really catchy beats and very encouraging lyrics! Any person that is looking for a good artist that has both...Britt Nicole is the artist! From the beginning to the end...her lyrics get better and progress from many different genres of sound! "Headphones" is a great song for those out there that are trying to fit in, Britt refers to headphones and tells the kids not to worry about what people think of them. "Headphones" is one of the many favorite songs that i enjoy listening to over and over again! I love how "Like a star" starts out with an electronic sound, it is dreamy and very upbeat. "Have your way" is a great love song to God and how everything doesn't really seem to matter, as long as HE is working everything out in your life. I love every song on Britt's new album "The Lost Get Found", i believe everyone should listen to her music...they won't be disappointed.
HOT!| Posted August 11, 2009
In 2007 Britt Nicole blasted onto the Christian music scene with her critically acclaimed album Say It. Produced by famed producer Tedd T. (Stacie Orrico, Rebecca St. James) the album with its slick pop tunes became one of the hottest selling albums of that year, driven by the hit singles “You” and “Set the World On Fire”.
Now in 2009, Britt comes back her highly anticipated sophomore album, The Lost Get Found. Starting off with the #1 hit title track that has been riding the airwaves like a surfboard, “The Lost Get Found” is a mid-tempo, poised song about finding Christ. “How We Roll” starts the party with its sizzling dance beats and catchy acoustic guitar. “Safe”, co-written by Joy Williams, starts slow, but builds into a rock ballad that lets Britt’s vocals soar beautifully.
“Hanging On” is a pop ballad with a simple, yet lovely melody and smooth beat. Very refreshing and relaxing. One of my two favorites, “Headphones” starts out with a cute piano vamp that turns into a plethora of fizzy programming sound effects and drum beats. The song is unbelievably catchy and has a great message. The perfect summer song. Up there with “Party In the USA” by Miley Cyrus as my top 2 songs of the summer. “Welcome to the Show” starts off with a vintage, classy intro and dives right into the hottest dance song on the album. Britt belts out the chorus, which is perfect for head-banging. Perfect for fans of Lady GaGa or The Veronicas.
“Walk On Water” is a beautiful CCM-esque song that is driven by a very feminine piano melody. “Glow” brings the party back, but fails to bring what “Headphones” and “Welcome to the Show” delivered. Its in no means bad, but it doesn’t have that “umph”. “Like A Star” is my other favorite off the album. The entrancing pop beat and psychedelic sound effects make for the perfect song for a homecoming dance under the stars.
“Feel the Light” and “Have Your Way” end the album beautifully, with strong vocals and great messages. Overall, Britt gets an A+ from me. A lot of people have said she sound too similar to Krystal Meyers’ Make Some Noise, but honestly, I feel that this album is even better than Krystal’s. And everyone knows how much I was obsessed with that album. I think this could be the summer album of 2009. Phenomenal.
Get Found With Britt Nicole| Posted August 10, 2009
One of my friends kept telling me over and over how excited she was about Britt Nicole's newest release. And although I am not much of a fan for the usual pop style, NRT helped to somewhat sway my otherwise, critical opinion. The CD breaks in with its strong base led, guitar jumping tracks and before I knew it, was completely sucked in. 'How we Roll' was definitely my style of in your face bass, but the CD's title The Lost Get Found is probably the best I have Ever heard. Lyrically, this girl has grown. It's worth a listen for the lyrics at least, even if pop isn't your style. I threw in the track listing just for kicks. This CD is purely pop driven, but it's nothing to shun upon. It was far better than I had expected. so if anything, check out the 30 sec clips on iTunes at least.
Walk On Water| Posted August 04, 2009
Alternately i think that "Walk On Water" is the best song on this album. She is amazing releasing better sings and i would love to lean and know whats the story behind Walking On Water.
Great Album| Posted August 04, 2009
She's back! She was a breath of fresh air when she broke out on the scene with "Say It"- with dancy electro beats and amped up guitars this girl can seriously rock- and with "THe Lost Get Found" she's keeps up the energy and the fun with a positive message.
