Emerging from the post-nuclear wreckage of the late-nineties grunge scene, All Star United's self-titled debut CD galvanized an unwavering fanbase across the globe. Incorporating spot-on hooks, a redemptively acerbic (sometimes self-deprecating) wit, and 'amps on eleven,' All Star jolted the subculture with new energy, like some sort of musical CPR, breathing life into the collective consciousness, proving once again"in case anyone had forgotten"that rock n' roll is best when it's fun.

A Great Listen Again and Again| Posted June 06, 2007
Looking for something just a bit out of the ordinary? Maybe something with a beat that grabs you, an unpredictable musical style, and lyrics ranging from humorous to deep and thoughtful? All Star United's debut album may be just the ticket! In 1996, All Star United took the cake with the best album of the year in my opinion. That was 11 years ago. The album is still one of my all time favorites. Their upbeat extremely bubblegum act was an instant success with lyrics that were challenging and goofy all at the same time. Very rarely can you find a Christian album with little flaws, and this album certainly goes into the flawless category. Always fun to listen to, this album is and will always be a classic Christian Rock album. They had 3 No 1 songs, and 2 in the top 5. A great listen again and again.
older but so good| Posted December 17, 2008
I remember hearing this back when I was like 6 and I found there CD a couple of years ago again and I still love all of the songs on this CD, which is not common that I like every track on a CD. and the hidden track on the last track is great.
Great Band!| Posted January 22, 2008
I remember when I first heard about these guys in 5th grade-it was my teacher's favorite band, and it was easy to see why. These guys are so much fun and have some really awesome songs! I love "Savior of My Universe".
