I generally cringe when I hear of an artist attempting to remake a classic. But House of Heroes has been faithful enough to the original classics while still giving them a more than respectable update. While I'm not a fan of the original reggae flavor of “Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da,” these guys make it a fun, lively track that fits Tim's vocals, even though it misses the uniquely recognizable piano hook. “Can't Buy Me Love” fits into their style, as well as “It Won't Be Long”; a much older lesser known Beatles track. I wish it could be a longer EP, as the tracks themselves are in a 60's era shortness. I'm curious to hear what other tracks they might lay down.
