Heaven in the Real World is the sixth studio album by the Christian singer Steven Curtis Chapman released on July 12, 1994, by Sparrow Records.
It was certified gold by the end of the year, nominated for a 1995 Grammy award, and went platinum on February 7, 1997. The title song received the 1995 Gospel Music Association award for best Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year, and the album earned Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year, at the 25th GMA Dove Awards.

I have the music video for the title track. It's done pretty well, as for the cd, I love it. I could keep most of those songs running all day long! "Dancing With The Dinosaur", "Burn The Ships", and "Heaven In The Real World", all of these songs are great!
Favorite Song; "Facts are Facts" It has a catchy tune and has true, meaningful words that any Christian can be proud to sing!

these are getting better and better!!!!!!!! he does well, and the lyrics and the mixed music goes well! i love stephen curtis chapman! he is a classic christian artist !

This is my all-time favorite SCC album. From the first to the last track, he maintains a consistent vision and message. Every track speaks volumes and The Mountain is, I think, the best SCC song EVER!!!!

Okay this album is not Steven Curtis Chapman's best effort, but it's still got some good stuff. The title track especially and "King of the Jungle" is a nice catchy tune. Other highlights are "Treasure of You" and "Remember Your Chains". This album will always have a sentimental attachment for me because it is the first Christian CD I ever bought.
