Erica Lane has a wonderful soothing voice and it's obvious she loves using her gifts for the Lord. She also is very kind and personable to meet in person.
Vocalist at heart| Posted August 28, 2009
This album is unique from the mix of mainstream Christian radio flavor, it is more along that singer-songwriter vibe. Vocals are the main staple that draws me to it. Style wise, it is more along a the lines of classy and relaxing, less pop-ish vien, which will suite some peoples tastes and not others. Some songs are very raw, which I like, but they are simple, purely vocal driven songs ('Best of You'). Opposite of the current music trend and marketplace, I'd even say my favs are her most non-commercial fare... has that raw sort of Jewel thing going on..
Good Voice| Posted August 05, 2009
Erica Lane seems to have a good voice but she just doesn't do much for me. She actually has a 5 song EP on iTunes where she does covers of some secular songs from Miley, Cyrus, Coldplay, High School Musical, etc.
