In 2000, Phil released an album called Uncle Duke, which was poetry written by his uncle Dave "Duke" Keaggy and set to music. There were a very limited number pressed and used copies were selling on eħBay for upwards of $200. So, after numerous requests from fans who missed out, Phil decided to release this expanded version with new songs, live versions, and an interview with Uncle Duke.
Phil's uncle sent Phil some poems he'd written throughout his life and Phil set them to music as a gift to his uncle. Topics range from the absolutely hilarious to the serious. The style? Imagine Charlie Daniels, Bob Dylan and Phil Keaggy all making a CD together.
