To "stir before you pour" is the desire of MercyMe. Stirring the hearts of the audience through a high energy, rock-pop-alternative sound followed by a pouring of hearts at the feet of Jesus through worship because only the best should be offered to Christ.

I own Undone, Almost there, and Coming up to Breathe.
This is my second favorite of the 3.
Great godly lyrics and an awesome sound. This music really brings me close to God and I can listen to them throughout the day. That way when I cant read my Bible I can still hear scripture. MercyMe is definitely one of my all time favorites :)

i really liked this album when it first came out. the imagery of the songs i thought was wonderful. then the song i can only imagine was played over and over and over on the radio and i just got sick of that song. because of this i rarely play this cd any longer.
here is what amazon.com says
In today's worship-crazed phase of Christian pop, Mercy Me fits right in with smooth melodies, passionate lyrics, and a vertical focus. Yet the transition from worship band to major-label act demands more. Almost There promises just enough to allow it to rise above its inconsistencies. Prayer of Jabez-inspired "Bless Me Indeed" is a glimmer of brilliance where the group brings it all together, but it's the poignancy and power of "I Can Only Imagine" that testifies to Mercy Me's great potential. The dramatic ballad captures a believer's hope for the afterlife and is fueled by Bart Millard's authoritative vocals. The song will continue to be a staple in church worship services for years to come. Then there are the not so brilliant moments, including the cheesy "House of God" and "All Fall Down." Weak moments aside, Almost There offers enough fireworks to make Mercy Me an act to watch. --Michael Lyttle

The one song I like on that cd is "I can only imagine". It really gets you thinking about what's going to happen when jesus comes.
