While we were in the studio with Luke and band these songs just began to jump out at me from behind the console,songs like Worldwide and Compared To You, I knew at that moment we were listening to something unique and certainly not the same old top 40 worship junk,it’s a good listen,get the CD.

Every album I hear from Luke Dowler his songwriting gets better and better. “Compared To You” is his most well-developed, deepest, and most vulnerable work yet. Standouts for me include the soulful “Psalm 130″, the deeply personal and moving “Middle Of July”, and of course the excellent and catchy title track “Compared To You”. Here is a guy that is not afraid of bearing his soul… and listening to this album makes me root for him and want to sing along. Luke has crafted a well-balanced and passionate album that really does hit all the right notes.
