I have been an Amy fan since she released her "Heart in Motion" cd. Even though I currently listen to hard rock and metal, Amy still has a special place in my heart. This cd is fresh and her sweet voice mixes perfectly with the acoustic sound of this recording. Her vocals are flawless, making every song very enjoyable. The ethereal sound of the songs make you pay attention to the lyrics and take you on a journey to enjoy the story every song tells. Personal favorites include "Missing you", "like I love you" and "Turn this world around". All in all, a great recording from one of the most beloved Christian artists of our time.

pretty good cd. she is getting better. i like her newer stuff...and though she definitely isn't my favorite artist, i still like her familier voice...... <><

Amy Grant departs from some of her earlier work in the happy upbeat pop albums and releases a more acoustic kind of pop rock. It also leaves behind a lot of the happier themes from previous albums. She deals with a lot of different emotions and struggles on this album. It has very well written material and Amy still has the great voice to sing. Standout songs for me are "Takes a Little Time" and "Somewhere Down the Road." It also may take a few listens before the CD grows on you as it is a departure for her.
