This band out of Huntington, WV, Gotee Record's newest band, Our Heart's Hero, plugged in their guitars and created their own pop/rock sound. Originally formed to uplift several youth groups in their area, the band's music and mission is to empower people to find their purpose in life and be a hero in their own community. In a world where many feel lost and unimportant, a hero can emerge by being willing to use the talent and abilities they are gifted with to impact their communities. Our Heart's Hero desires to use their music to empower individuals to be everyday heroes.

This cd is awesome. These guys rock. I know them, because they are from my area. They are all great guys, and their lyrics are so uplifting. Angel's song is so amazing. It sounds so good on the cd. Angel was a girl who lived in Huntington, WV, and died in an apartment fire. It was huge for our community, because there were so many people who died in this fire. The guys were all friends of Angel's and this hit them very hard. Angel's testimony will be played all of the world. Please go out and buy this cd! It is awesome!

Our Heart's Hero's Gotee debut is a solid mix of pop and rock. While it may not be as good as many other records of the same style out there it's still good. "Back To The Cross" is one of my all time favorite songs, while the rockier "Because Of The Blood" is a great track too. Other good songs include: the opener "Save Me", "More Than Everything", "Every Breath", and the quiet closer "Angel's Song". Not a bad debut for Our Heart's Hero. While it may be a little cliche, the band still pulls it off fairly well. I recommend this only for fans of the pop/rock genre.
