Arrow Records, home of "Music That Pierces The Heart," is proud to release Where Never Begins, the much awaited new EP from hip-hop/rock/soul artist Shonlock, available in limited release on the Awake Tonight tour beginning Tuesday, November 9.
Heralded by GospelCity.com as "Christian hip hop’s most distinguished and gifted freshman," the multi-instrumentalist and pop/rock/soul singer learned his craft in the clubs of Chicago before working as choreographer for Aaliyah and later a dancer with Arrested Development. Cale Nelson of WHRZ/Spartanburg, SC says, “Shonlock is the future of CHR Radio.”
Where Never Begins is his first record for Arrow, who will release a full-length Shonlock album in 2011.

This EP was a great release before Shonlock's full CD was released, but now that "Never Odd or Even" has been released (with all the songs on this EP plus others) I wouldn't recommend this release as much unless you are someone who just wants to own all of an artists releases. My favorite track is "Something in Your Eyes".

I usually never listen to this kind of music, but my some of the songs are pretty good. I am not a fan of this rap style of music, but at least the songs are positive for those who do enjoy listening to it.

I really like the song 'Something in Your eyes' from this cd. Theres something that causes me to listen it again and again. Totally in love w this song. :-)
