When one talks about rock & roll or any of the sub-genres involved, it's generally in terms of crunching guitars and more of an attitude than most other forms of musical communication. In the case of members of Arkansas' The Wedding, it's all of the above with added punk infectiousness, emo refrains, and hardcore intensity blended in.
From the first riff of the radio single "Move This City" to the militant instrumentation of "Wake The Regiment" and the sacrifice-centered "Price For Love," this album is full of high-energy songs that deal with perseverance, healing, forgiveness, and self-esteem.

I've been listening to The Wedding for a couple years now, and I just got this album. and I'm listening to it now. I really like it alot. I agree with the one guy from the band though, their songs on their new album are better. though I don't have that album, I have heard alot of the songs. and they are better than this album. but..some of my favorite songs off of this record are "Morning Air", "Move This City", and "Wake the Regiment". I still remember seeing The Wedding in concert 2 years ago and them singing "Move This City" and I really loved it then, and I still love it. This is a really great band.

This cd by The Wedding is one of the catchiest albums I have heard, with each song leaving you thirsty for more of their music. The first song (Morning Air) starts very upbeat and keeps up the same energy up all through the song. I could listen to this cd over and over again and not be tired of it.
