"At a youth conference in Winnipeg called Downpour I heard Wesley Campbell preach a sermon on praying the Bible that changed me. When I got home and started praying the Psalms, I was stirred to turn them into songs. There was an overwhelming passion inside to take prayer and worship to the streets, so a group of us got together and chose a Psalm, prayed it the day before, then went to the streets. That is where almost all of these were written. Sometimes we sang the same song for over an hour. I was joined by different musicians, singers, intercessors, and a poet who could write as we prayed. All of the songs were prayed through before being written, and I have little desire now to sing anything else" - Heather Clark
