This is really different than what im used to listening to. His voice is really different. But i like it. My favorite song is the title track. Plus the name "The Showdown" is an awesome name for a band.

This album is great! It's much better than the last 2 showdown albums and is a great metal album! Great music, great vocals, great lyrics. This album is a must buy for any metal fans

Wow, just plain wow. Having only heard "Death Finds Us Breathing" before hearing this album, I was very shocked at the style they took with this album, but it was amazing nonetheless. The combination of the high screams and growls worked perfectly, and the fact that almost all of the songs are blatantly from the Bible or Christian themed is awesome as well. High energy, fast paced, plain out hard rock.

The Showdown is a great band and "A Chorus of Obliteration" is a great CD. The song I can't get out of my head is "A Monument Encased In Ash." The guitars just sound so fast and meshed together perfectly.

This CD is excellent. face melting guitar riffs, superb double bass, and great vocal combination of singing and screaming. Just about every song on A chorus of Obliteration is the telling of an Old Testament Bible story. This CD is amazing, but if you have the chance to see them live DO IT. they don't tour very often, but their show is even better then the CD, which is a great buy!
