This past year has featured some incredible new worship albums and songs. I have had the privilege to worship along with dozens of new worship albums this year, and this has been one of the best years in recent memory to "sing to the Lord a new song" (Psalm 96:1) with amazing offerings by all of these artists. As a believer, one of my daily devotionals is to spend time worshiping my Lord and Savior Jesus by singing Him worship songs in adoration of His majesty and love. 2. People by Hillsong UNITED

3. At Midnight by Elevation Worship
Like their other albums, it is truly a moving and prayerful worship experience. These anointed worship leaders have consistently impressed me with their mature faith and sincere desire to serve Jesus. The truly unstoppable love of Jesus is beautifully expressed in these compelling songs. The Lord calls us to have joy in Him regardless of our circumstances, which these songs celebrate. At Midnight is about proclaiming the majesty of God and crying out in awe and wonder for His presence. All of the songs are memorable, personal and worshipful.
These moving and reverent recordings are poignant songs of adoration. Every song is completely anointed, Spirit-led and emotionally captivating. The standout songs each feature an engaging and emotive musical style while phrasing prayer-filled songs in a creative and personal way, making it one of my top worship albums of the year. I'm really engaged by the emotional vocals and the prayerful lyrics found in these sacred songs. The vertical lyrics will direct your attention to focus on Jesus and “See a Victory.”
4. Victory by Bethel Music
If you are looking for new worship songs to sing with fellow believers, this album is chock-full of congregational songs, especially, "Raise a Hallelujah," "Goodness of God," "Stand in Your Love," "Victory is Yours," and "Living Hope." Every song released by Bethel Music completely focuses me as a listener on joining in praise, worship and adoration of Jesus.
All of these songs are poignant and powerful with earnest, worshipful lyrics. Victory is one of the top worship albums of the year. It is truly a moving and prayerful worship experience. This album is best described as a worship experience with an ethereal tone. These anointed worship leaders have consistently impressed me with their mature faith and sincere desire to serve Jesus. Worship is really about submission, and our roles as worshippers are really defined in this song: to just be amazed and in awe of God.
5. Faith and Wonder by Meredith Andrews
I absolutely love Meredith's intentionality and complete focus on God's provision in her life. She is a uniquely gifted singer/songwriter with a big voice that is memorable and dynamic, yet intimate. Faith and Wonder is about proclaiming the majesty of God and crying out in awe and wonder for His Presence. All of the songs are memorable, personal and worshipful, and these moving and reverent recordings are poignant songs of adoration. Every song is completely anointed, Spirit-led and emotionally captivating.
Meredith's powerful and gorgeous vocals keep me hanging on every word she sings. The standout songs each feature an engaging and emotive musical style while phrasing her prayer-filled songs in a creative and personal way, making it one of my top worship albums of the year. I'm really engaged by the emotional vocals and the prayerful lyrics found in these sacred songs.
Meredith’s vocals will soothe your soul, and the vertical lyrics will direct your attention and focus on Jesus. If you like female singers that make you think while you enjoy their catchy and empowering songs, Faith and Wonder is for you.
6. The Wait by David Leonard
I'm really engaged by David Leonard's emotional vocals and the deep, prayerful and vertical lyrics throughout the album. The opening and closing songs "Wanderer" and "The Little I Know" establish and close with an engaging ambient rock musical style. The soothing musical feel is just one of the many attractions to savor about this ambient and introspective worship album.
I'm drawn to all of the songs’ sincerity, gorgeous musical beds and the profound songwriting. More than just a collection of great songs, this album is a deep meaningful worship experience unlike any other I've heard this year. If you feel like many worship albums sound the same and you want to experience a fresh, deep, introspective and completely worshipful album, look no further than this album.
The standout songs are “By My Side,” “Know Your Heart,” “Come As You Are,” “I Will Wait” and “Threads.” The soothing musical feel is one of the many attractions to savor about this ambient and introspective worship album. I'm drawn to the songs' lyrical sincerity, gorgeous musical beds, and profound songwriting.
The Wait tells David's story of wrestling through heartache, depression, confusion, and redemption with his family and with God. This is the most spine-tingling, ambient worship project I've experienced this year. Every song is anointed, spirit-led and emotionally captivating. There is not one weak song. The entire album is a masterpiece. This is a very emotional album, loaded with hook-filled vertical expressions with catchy melodies wrapped around introspective, worshipful and emotional lyrics.
7. The Way Home by The McClures
After several years as worship leaders with Bethel Music, Paul and Hannah McClure released their debut album which features "Only Have One," "Gone," and the standout “Now I See.” Many of the songs are arranged in a very sing-able and catchy style. "Holding On To You" and “The Way Home” are gorgeous and worshipful songs.
The McClures have a passion to make creative music that inspires the worship of Jesus Christ and to point listeners to Him. The theme of emptying ourselves in order to be filled by the Holy Spirit and celebrating God’s great grace is found in every song.
I greatly enjoy the musical vibe of this album and the melodies and lyrics are all catchy and rooted in Scripture. The creative use of biblical language is a highlight and there are no ambiguous lyrics, which is great for the Church to boldly proclaim praises to Jesus.
8. New Stories by London Gatch
New Storiesis about proclaiming the majesty of God and crying out in awe and wonder for His presence. As “New Stories” proclaims, “Oh, come Holy Spirit/You’re setting us free.” God wants to inhabit our praises, and these anthems provide several wonderful ways to “sing a new song to the Lord,” expressing “new stories of wonders.” All of the songs are memorable, personal and worshipful.
These moving and reverent recordings are all prayers and personal confessions of submission to God, and they are poignant songs of adoration. Every song is completely anointed, Spirit-led and emotionally captivating. London’s powerful and gorgeous vocals keep me hanging on every word she sings, and she invites listeners into her life by sharing what's on her heart.
The standout songs each feature an engaging and emotive musical style while phrasing her prayer-filled songs in a creative and personal way, making it one of my top worship albums of the year.
9. House on a Hill by Amanda Lindsey Cook
This is an excellent set of songs that focus on the central themes of asking God to inhabit our inner being and truly allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to sanctify us along with relying solely on the love of Jesus to truly mold our hearts and make us more like Him. I really love how expressive these songs are. Amanda loves a lot, and that is evident throughout this stellar “gourmet” offering.
These are all stand-out tracks filled with overwhelming biblical truth, and are companions in my personal prayer and worship time. Amanda sings songs with an amazing passion and with unashamed praise and gratitude to our Savior; it's very inspiring and emotionally moving.
All of these songs are poignant and powerful with earnest, worshipful lyrics. House on a Hillis one of the top worship albums of the year and is a moving and prayerful worship experience.
10. Follow You Anywhere by Passion
The beauty and majesty of our King Jesus is reverently captured throughout the album with anthem after anthem, including “Welcome the Healer," “Lift Up Jesus” and “Behold the Lamb.” Every single song could be added to your worship set. More importantly, this is an album about submitting to the Lordship of Jesus and declaring there is no other name under Heaven by which we are saved than Jesus Christ our God.
A sincere desire for the presence of God and to see His Kingdom on earth is found in every song, especially “Follow You Anywhere” and “Fade Away,” which are both instantly sing-able prayer songs featuring declarations about Jesus and the Holy Spirit. This is yet another solid entry in this great series. These are very passionate worship songs sung with vocal sincerity and reverence with biblically based lyrics.
There are several instantly sing-able and worshipful arrangements that you'll want to add to your Sunday morning set-list. This album is all about finding our true identity in Christ. He is the answer. All of the songs are catchy, exciting and worshipful. Follow You Anywhere is a must-have for your praise and worship collection. This is a truly fresh and catchy set of excellent songs for the church.
