Convictions - "Wreckage"
Convictions is about to release their new record, I WON'T SURVIVE. Based on the singles they have released so far, I am anticipating this is going to be groundbreaking for the band. Some of the singles have been the fasting-growing songs for the band. Stories are taken from real-life stories from people the band personally knows. "Wreckage" deals with mental health with a Christian perspective. This is a must-listen to for any fan of metal.
Wolves At The Gate - "Stop The Bleeding"
Wolves At The Gate is a well-known name in Christian-based heavy music and for good reason - they consistently put out high-quality in both music and messages behind the music. They have released their first new original song since 2020's Dawn EP titled "Stop The Bleeding." The lyrics are inspiring and spirited. The song is perfect for the post-modern world that we live in; striking at the world's forces trying to control us and tear us down.
Death Therapy - "Tension"
If you want some heavy music that sounds unlike many others, Death Therapy better be on your playlists. Their debut album, The Storm Before The Calm, was electronically-infused industrial metal and caught my attention from the first single. Now, "Tension" is out, bringing with it, a continuation of experimentative metal music. It's groovy and heavy all at the same time - a unique song. The third full-length studio album, Melancholy Machines, is coming June 4, 2021.
