The members of Thrive Worship began their journey in Sacramento, California where they lead the congregation of Bayside Church in praise. That individual church has had a tremendous impact on the surrounding community and now spans eight campuses. The group signed a few years ago with Integrity Music, a decision currently turning their dreams into a reality. This partnership was celebrated recently with the release of their newest album, "Let's Have Church."
Their music is meant to inspire hope in the hearts of listeners and the encouraging message has catalyzed their success. Thrive Worship has expanded their horizons in many ways over the years but preserves their diversity. Additionally, through it all, they remain true to the central purpose of praising our God.
NEW: "Pour Your Spirit Out"
Just like Lazarus, out of that grave, our God rewrites history Jesus, You change ev'rything, when You pour Your Spirit out Just like Silas, singing with Paul, praise can break down prison walls Jesus, You can have it all; won't You pour Your Spirit out?
I noticed immediately the power of this song and its firm roots on the truth of Scripture. I love how the musicians incorporate Biblical miracles into the lyrics as a way of proving God's strength. As this melody sings, our God welcomes each of us with open arms. He doesn't worry about our past so why should we? He has proved himself more than worthy of our praise in the past and continues to do so everyday. He's working miracles even when we don't see it. "All we have to do is ask, seek, knock/There's a miracle right behind that stone. Roll back that stone."
NEW: "There is a Hope"
There is a hope, there is a light His name is Jesus, He is alive The tomb is empty, I'll testify That He rose again, and so will I
The grace with which the singer speaks to himself in this song really got me. We can be our own worst enemy, stretching ourselves far too thin without any mercy. The world is hard enough, and that's temporary; in contrast, you have to live with yourself forever. Don't beat yourself up over the little things, and forgive mistakes because they're bound to happen until we get to heaven. Focus on the love of your Heavenly Father and it will multiply itself in a beautiful way throughout your life. He is standing in your corner and you can have hope everyday stemming from the resurrection of Jesus. Hallelujah for our alive and forever reigning King!
