Skillet - "Surviving The Game"
One of the most influential Christian rock bands for the last 20 years is Skillet. Their music has always been hopeful and exciting. From their 6 million monthly Spotify listeners to their multiple music award nominations and victories, they don't show signs of stopping soon; the fans remain ever loyal. It's time for new music and it is here. "Surviving The Game" is the first single for their upcoming album, Dominion, releasing January 14, 2022.
Relent - Heavy
A major up-and-coming rock band is Relent. Their fusion of nu-metal reminds many listeners of bands like Linkin Park, P.O.D., and more. If that kind of sound interests you, definitely check out the band's new record, Heavy. Maybe you heard their debut, Heart Attack, when they signed to Rockfest Records and re-released it, or heard their mega-hit "Low" on Octane Radio. Relent makes their mark on the rock scene with Heavy and I can't wait for more from them.
Beard The Lion - "Wretch Like Me"
Don't let this band's name fool you, it's just as unique as their rock music. Beard the Lion might have caught your attention earlier this year when they covered Imagine Dragon's "Believer" song. But hopefully, they also saw you with their first single (since 2016) titled "Captain of the Host." The song showcased their incredible talent and singer Ethan Carthel's standout vocals. Their second single is here: "Wretch Like Me." Like the single before it, it exemplifies what Christian-based songwriting and talented musicianship should be in a song. Beard The Lion is a must-hear for any fan of Christian rock.
