The members of Thrive Worship began their journey in Sacramento, California where they led the congregation in praise at Bayside Church. This church, which spans over eight campuses, has had a tremendous impact on the surrounding community. The church's praise team, Thrive Worship, signed with Integrity Music a few years ago, a decision currently turning their dreams into a reality. This partnership was celebrated recently with the release of their newest album, Pour Your Spirit Out (Live).
Thrive Worship's music is meant to inspire hope in listeners' hearts, and the encouraging message has catalyzed their success. The group has expanded its horizons in many ways over the years but preserves its diversity. Additionally, through it all, the members remain true to praising God.
NEW: "Pour Your Spirit Out"
Just like Lazarus, out of that grave, our God rewrites history
Jesus, You change ev'rything, when You pour Your Spirit out
Just like Silas, singing with Paul, praise can break down prison walls
Jesus, You can have it all; won't You pour Your Spirit out?
I noticed immediately the power of this song and its firm roots in the truth of Scripture. I love how the musicians incorporate biblical miracles into their lyrics as a way of proving God's strength. As this melody sings, our God welcomes each of us with open arms. He doesn't worry about our past so why should we? He has proved himself more than worthy of our praise in the past and continues to do so every day. He's working miracles even when we don't see it: "All we have to do is ask, seek, knock/There's a miracle right behind that stone/Roll back that stone."
NEW: "Coming Back"
I don't want to be familiar
Treat it like doesn't matter
I don't want to lose the wonder
Of Your presence
There’s nothing I relish more than the fresh love I am washed in every time God reveals a new aspect of Himself to me. I don’t want to become numb to this, because where would I be if I abandoned God’s goodness? It's difficult to implement daily reminders of this truth. But through prayer and devotionals just like this one, I do my best to keep the name of Jesus at the forefront of my life. The joy I have witnessed at the hand of Jesus, both in myself and others, is so incomparable that I am overcome by emotion just trying to describe it.
My savior’s kindness makes me grin until I think my smile will break from joy. The little signs I see of Him in my everyday life flush my face with gratitude. I urge you to break away from today's chaos and spend some time with Jesus. It doesn’t even have to be in solitude if that is not an option; coming before Him with community beside you is an equally beautiful experience. He has been preparing to show you a new side of His goodness. Are you ready to receive it?
