Each week, dozens of singles and a handful of projects are released in the Christian Hip-Hop (CHH) and Urban Soul spaces. Miles Minnick x Bizzle - "Ghost" Bay area's elite Miles Minnick collided with H-town's CHH veteran Bizzle for what should prove to be one of the hottest summer anthems of 2022. The core of what branded CHH decades ago as God-honoring, "Jesus music" resurfaces between these two emcees. Minnick has proved the future is bright with previous heaters like "YEE!" featuring Wande, "Show Out" featuring Hulvey, and "W.Y.T." featuring nobigdyl. Glo Nation continues the energetic bops with the latest crowd-pleasing anthem found within "Ghost."
The single acts like an "on switch" for bodies to begin dancing wholeheartedly. Produced by NK4 and Tahi, the iconic "west coast sound" is represented well bouncing between 808's and soft piano keys situated over happy high hats. Saint James x Faith Lofi - "All I Need" New York's Saint James delivers his fourth single of 2022. He's nearly perfected the blend of soul-driven harmonies with relatable lyricism as he's another bookmarked example of an artist who expands talents over vocals and rhymes. Another positive to his artistry is found in the related content each track represents. Saint James pulls from real-life experiences and infuses everything with the hope found in Jesus. The life journey between the ages of 16-24 can be quite troublesome. Many individuals are unsure how to cope with difficult situations, therefore, turn to music. All of his music points to the strength of our God and the love of our Savior through typical scenarios the common individual faces. The sermon snippet is a great addition to the overall message from "All I Need." The sonics fit into the overall concept beautifully as the sound merges Motown with modern vibes. Talk to God EP by Nu Tone
California-raised Nu Tone releases his third EP of 2022 while also releasing nine singles this year too. He's been blessed with an unlimited catalog of tracks providing the streets with soundtracks of hope in a desolate world. The current EP compiled tracks varying between bangers and slower tempo vibes. He teamed up with an array of featured artists such as Miles Minnick, Ray Knowledge, Aable, Xay Hill, Ivon, 3 Miles High, and NX. Up and comer 350 produced the EP and was featured a few times too.
Standout tracks include "Real Love," "Louder," and "The Mud" featuring Aable and NX. Nu Tone remains unashamed throughout his delivery while conveying emotions throughout his testimony explained in every lyrical offering. His impact, regardless of the track, ensures listeners hear of God's love, triumphs over struggles, and how God molded him into the devout missionary represented currently.
