Jon Keith feat. nobigdyl. - "M.I.A" and "Still Up" A member both of RMG Amplify and indie tribe., Jon Keith drops two new singles before summer calls it a wrap. "M.I.A" details how Keith doesn't stay around in situations where he doesn't belong. Then, indie tribe. founder nobigdyl. joins Keith on the second single, "Still Up." Sonically, each track is the polar opposite of the other. "M.I.A" is geared more to a soulful tone and energy whereas "Still Up" is your typical weekend banger. Aaron Cole - "Hands" Gotee Records' Cole supplies listeners with his fourth single released in 2022 under a different vibe. "Hands" signifies the balance possessed by Cole to juggle between hip-hop, pop, and R&B soundscapes. Whereas the last two singles from him were the lyricist version of Cole, "Hands" slows things down to the tempo of soulful worship. Backed by a soft acoustic guitar and hand claps, he provides fans with an anthem between God the Father and His children. I've always loved the diversity Cole equips his talent utility belt with. The track speaks to allowing God to control our lives and our willingness and openness to submit to His will. There's also a radio version too providing a bit of an uptempo vibe. Anointed by George.Rose
George.Rose may have been releasing singles since 2019, however, his debut album has finally arrived (and well worth the wait). Originating from the Dallas, Texas, area, Rose is an industry powerhouse. Before beginning to release music a few years back (2019), he focused on the production and handcrafting beats and quality engineered tracks for the likes of Miles Minnick, the God Over Money team, and quite a few others. Also, he’s been featured on the last two summer playlist compilations from Reach Records (“Circles,” “70 Degrees”).
Prior to the album’s release this year, Rose has catered to the industry’s demand for singles releasing a total of seven singles, four directly from the album. Anointed is a Rose at his best. The album presents several talented sides of him. Listeners are treated with “ole skool” lyrical Rose, harmonizing Rose and the energetic “I just want to have fun” Rose. Production on the project isn’t stale or smothered with that “everything sounds the same” vibe. However, it’s refreshing, innovative at points, and provides replayability across any track.
