His Glory Alone II by KB Raised out of St. Petersburg, FL, Kevin “KB” Burgees has expanded his artistic impact musically from the South to all directions of the United States; even extending outward globally after 15 years involved in the industry. He's released a total of five full-length albums, an EP, and a mixtape since 2010. Beginning with Reach Records 13 years ago, KB signed with Essential Sound (a Sony imprint) in 2020 after his contract expired with Reach.
The second iteration of the His Glory Alone series simply sounds like an extension of the first release in 2020. However, it’s a deeper dive into KB’s faith, personal life, and talents. The intricate level of transparency rivals most. If fans ever desired a “backstage pass” of sorts into KB’s life, access has been granted. Favorites for me from the album include "EZ," "Imagine That" featuring Porsha Love and Wande, and "Who the Son Sets Free" featuring Scootie Wop.

Ty Brasel - "Your Love" 4 Against 5's Ty Brasel released his first single of 2023. Fans haven't heard from Brasel since he dropped his fifth album titled, TRANSCENDENT on November 11 last year. He's always been a fan favorite for his creative feature verses on some of CHH's top artist tracks. Also, for his own eclectic, electronic-driven sound. Personally, I've always been captured by his southern drawl noticed in his lyrical delivery adding a unique voice within the industry.
"Your Love" was produced by Joel Setien. The song is an unapologetic declaration of his appreciation and gratitude for God's everlasting love and protection. It's whimsical, yet honest. The song is a dope summer anthem to ride into the fall months shortly. Stream "Your Love" on Spotify and Apple Music.
Scribe Music x Aable - "GOSSIP" Canadian's finest Scribe Music and Philly's own Aable tackle a wildly different vibe on their latest collaboration single. Each artist contributes a rare, yet incredible set of melodic harmonies combined with Aable's consistent lyrical dominance. Both artists address a cultural disease ever so present in the Christian space. It's active in the church, in Christian music, and in every related facet. Gossip leads to sin and leads to hurt within. Both admit they're hip-hop artists, but worshippers from the heart outward. Each look for new ways to express their love and admiration of our Lord Most High. Hence, the switch in content delivery from lyricism to a straight R&B worship-driven vibe.
