Legin feat. Elle Sharpe - "Higher" RMG Amplify and Virginia's own Legin returns with his third single released in 2023. This drop signifies the lead single off the forthcoming EP sometime in January titled, God Is Iconic. The track features the talented singer and songwriter Elle Sharpe. She doesn't have a ton of music available but has landed some major sync placements on shows from Netflix. Also, it doesn't hurt she possesses a beautiful, soulful voice with melodies strong enough to sweep you off your feet.
The track was produced by Femke, a talented producer out of Nashville and originally from Amsterdam. I love all the complex layers presented between the samples used, the instrumentation, and the back-and-forth melodic exchanges between Legin and Sharpe. Admittedly, Legin delivers some of his strongest lyrics both in content and presentation. Smooth, meaningful, and a complete vibe. "Higher" reminds me of one of my favorite Sho Baraka tunes from quite a few years ago, as I can see this one resonating with me for quite some time too. Miles Minnick - "Christlike" Bay Area's and independent artist Miles Minnick is set to drop his fifth single this year representing the hype track for the Glovember event on November 18 in Los Angeles. This one is classic Minnick with a level of energy and unashamed love-soaked lyrics for Christ Jesus. An anthem, a war cry, a declaration of who Minnick stands for. A staple model for what all CHH artists should be striving for.
Recently, Minnick signed as a partner with Jorge Batres and the Christlike Collection. This collection represents high-end hats for those unashamed about the Gospels and their faith walk. It "just makes sense" Minnick would represent the brand too and this new single marks a near-perfect anthem for not only Minnick but Batres brand too. Monster Tarver - "War Cry" Menace Movement and former award-winning WWE Nexus wrestler, Monster Tarver presents his third single of 2023. "War Cry" is a call to arms, an anthemic battle cry to stand up and fight for what matters most to us. This world has far too many songs and art to represent this world and the evil within. Tarver has created a fist-pumping, vein-popping track to move souls to be active in the Kingdom business. The track is a super-charged cinematic trap beat handcrafted by Tarver's own son Tev.
