Dillon Chase x Brent Rice - "Trivial" Die Daily's Dillon Chase drops his second single of 2024 produced by Brent Rice. Chase spewed bars out of the love for the art as opposed to any pressure or agenda. When anxiety, fear and complacency in life strike, he speaks out of faith, hope and what God interjects into our mind and heart. Chase and Rice connect again for the first time in 15 years when Rice helped produce most of Chase's sophmore project (The Pursuit). I love the trailing piano keys behind Chase's transparent outpouring of how trival our struggles are to God's power. The lifelike drums add a particular realism too. NK4 - "Being Perfected" Bay Area independent artist, producer, engineer, graphic designer and overall musical genius, NK4 drops his second single of 2024. The track is based off of the principles found in Proverbs 11:2. Produced by tahi (as usual), however, absent is that classic west coast sound. Instead, listeners are treated to synthesizer-driven electronic vibes and an overall sound comparable to the Miami Sound Machine from the 80s. The overpowering 808s throughout are a welcomed touch. Whether it's NK4, Tommy Zuko, or Miles Minnick, the GLO. collective always promised Christ-centered content inspiring listeners worldwide. Stream "Being Perfected" on Spotify and Apple Music.
Tunnel Rats - "We On Top"
For the first time in two decades, west coast underground emcees referred to as the Tunnel Rats drop a new single. Fans are treated to verses from Dax Reynosa, Sojourn, and Propaganda. However, other group members were included in the video such as Zane One, Peace586, and New Breed (Macho and Elsie). Production credits go to the one and only Daniel Steele (DSTL).
