the people we became by nobigdyl. Murfreesboro's finest and leader of the indie tribe. collective, nobigdyl releases his fourth and most introspective project to date. Known as one of the top names of the CHH space, dyl. has actively influenced the culture spanning over a decade dating back to dropping "indie" in 2013. His ties to hip-hop, freestyling, and creating art root even further back, however, the last decade dyl. has evolved into a top-tier artist, creative, and human.
Conceptually, the latest album is about a panic attack. It’s about grief disguising itself as anger. The album is about keeping your heart stoic when offered the world. It’s about surrendering to a higher purpose while debating the vanity of everything balanced with the weight of God’s presence. To find love, an agape love only rooted in our Savior, Jesus. Realistically, it’s about taking a leap of faith and landing in God’s hands only to discover all about the people we became.
The album includes no featured guests, as the heart and soul of dyl. are analysed emotionally and lyrically. Favorite tracks include "didn't cry," "imago interlude," and "pain on my mind." Production credits include ENZO, Bunkerboy, Scootie Wop, YOG$, Ashton Sellars, OB, Nate Rose, Macshooter, Daniel Moras, 1995, Vinnyforgood, and coopthetruth. With a vast collection of various sound, preference, tone, and style, the album's sonic values extend from hard hitting, dynamic percussion to ethereal and celeboratory melodies. The diverse explosion of sound is displayed as futuristic and experimental.

A3 - "i JUST WANNA LiVE" The youthful 21-year-old Texan rapper and brother to 350 (music), A3 drops his fourth single of 2024. The concept behind the track are drizzled in emotions stemmed from being overwhelmed by life and neighboring influences. The track was solely produced by Austin Knoll (@austinknollofficial). The emotions behind the track explain that the best version of yourself is built on rest and relaxation formed molded passion. This will be the last single before the full-length album is released in August 2024.
Sonically, A3 transports listeners into an electronic synthesizer haven completed with futuristic influences bouncing everywhere. I love how different the track sounds compared to most of the CHH space. It's not gritty. It's not trap. It's not driven by mumbles. It's unique, diverse, and a carnival ride of sound. Childlike CiCi feat. Scootie Wop and Melodicb - "Love Never Fails"
Capitol CMG's Childlike Cici dropped her fifth single of 2024 and second release after signing with her first record label. CiCi is fresh off a few tour appearances including KB's "Glory Nights" Tour. The new single features STARRBABY WRLDWIDE's Scootie Wop which effortlessly can belt out melodies or piece together an intricate string of bars. Also, Cidolem Records' Melodicb offered his soulful touch. I love the perfectly-placed strokes of the ivories through, as keys often offer something unique and timeless to tracks. The song speaks to God and his everlasting, neverending, and unconditional love for us regardless of how many times we slip, sin, or fade away from His Arms.
