Rage rooms are all the rage these days (if you pardon the pun.). Like escape rooms, these rooms are popping up nationwide and gaining popularity, especially among young adults. A rage room is a place where a proprietor sets up objects, and you pay for the privilege of smashing them with a stick, bat, or other blunt object.
Some rage rooms even offer a menu to pick and choose what items you want to smash. For example, a TV, a radio, a couch, hanging pictures, glass, an old computer or laptop, and so on. Most rage rooms will play music to help set the mood for the absolute destruction about to unfold.
Of course, the Bible calls us Christians to be slow to anger, as stated in James 1:19. But rage rooms can be a fun, cathartic, and safe way to let out some frustration or pent-up righteous outrage. Here's a list of my top five songs that I would bring into a rage room to help unleash righteous anger.
P.O.D. – “Boom”
Skillet – “Circus for a Psycho”
Manafest – “Supernatural”
Skillet – “Dominion” (My number two song)
Saved By Skarlet – “Lie of the Pharisees” (My number one song)
We would like to hear from you. What are your top five? Add them in the comments below.
