Lecrae x Beam - "Lift Me Up" Reach Records’ artist and co-founder Lecrae releases his fourth single of 2024. Amongst echoes of him being in “album mode”, he’s been thriving with the Deep End podcast and about to embark on an eight-city tour during the month of November related to the podcast and his iconic music catalog. The latest single features Epic Records' BEAM; the infamous mainstream artist and producer. Fair warning if you inquire into his music, most selections carry the Parental Advisory Explicit Content tag. However, he’s collaborated with Aaron Cole, WHATUPRG, Andy Mineo, Social Club Misfits and various other faith-based artists.
“Lift Me Up” resonates as an emotional, heartfelt single exploring dramatic themes of struggle, hope, faith, and divine guidance. Lecrae navigates through life’s obstacles such as loneliness, pain, and uncertainty. However, the love of God always remains to build and lift us up, sometimes even back on our feet. The track is based off of Psalm 139:12. BEAM’s melodic contributions bounce from the hook of the track to adlibs and added the exact spice for the perfect recipe between these two artists. Hollyn x Weathrman - "curse/rain" Besides a creative Christmas project, independent artist Hollyn hasn’t released any music since May of 2023. This time around, she teams up with a production collective known as Weathrman (the McNeil brothers and Wit). The pair of singles released is a captivating dynamic between the artist and producers which explores the complexities of a troubled relationship. Themes behind each song include love, loss, and the lingering effects of a toxic connection. Emotional crossroads explore pain, resentment, and all the included highs or lows of a risky relationship. The production trio adds a peculiar haunting and atmospheric backdrop. Hollyn does a phenomenal job of connecting with the struggles of everyday people and how hope rescues all. “Remember, what you get and what you got are two different things,” says Hollyn. Isreal Perez - "MADE IT OUT"
Independent artist Isreal Perez drops his third single of 2024. Perez is a phenomenal crossover artist bouncing back-and-forth between Rhythm & Blues (R&B) vibes and spitfire sixteens over dope beats. “Made It Out” speaks to how believers should fight to block out the noise and distractions of life while focusing on the promises of God’s Word. Regardless of how impossible our days feel, God levels the playing field based on his everlasting love. The track was mixed and mastered by Zach Paradis and produced by Matee beats.
