Buck Enterprises is a six-piece “rock with horns†band ranging from 19 to 26 years in age. Captivating listeners with the addition of a two-piece horn section to the traditional core of a modern rock band, a recent review classified them as a “hard-hitting, intelligent rock band with smooth melodies and thought-provoking lyricsâ€; thus making their sound unique and exciting. Buck Enterprises was formed in 1994 as BUCK (Building Up Christ’s Kingdom) and has been a steadily evolving ever since. BUCK released its critically acclaimed self-titled debut on Tattoo Records, a division of the Benson record family in 1999. The album’s success produced two top 10 singles on Christian Rock radio and led to three years of full-time touring across North America. Member changes and growth in the musical style of BUCK prompted an official name change in 2000 to Buck Enterprises. It was under this new name that the band's sophomore album was released in May of 2001. The project, titled Business As Usual, was released on Galaxy 21 Music and produced by Skidd Mills (Ardent Studios). Its first single released, a cover of the classic Beatles tune "Got To Get You Into My Life", broke into the top 10 on Christian Rock radio charts topping out at 9. The band's second single release "Silent Ruin" is current chart bound. Other releases to radio are eagerly anticipated. With two albums under their belt, Buck Enterprises has hit the road again. In the fall of 2001 the band began touring full time. With the help of new management and booking agency Reynolds Music (headed by previous lead singer of Buck, Dan Reynolds) they joined with the "Acquire The Fire" tour (Teen Mania). Their first Acquire The Fire date completed and a number still to play, the group is keeping their schedule full.
