IDLE CURE was a Christian based Melodic Rock outfit. Guitarist Chuck King, who appeared on the debut album only, formed SHOUT in 1988 with ex-JOSHUA man Ken Tamplin. The first IDLE CURE album also sees guitar contributions from Terrence Elliot, Tim Browne, Bob Somma and Mike Hamilton. Drums were supplied by Dave Spurr.
On further releases drums were handled by Pete Pfeifer for 1989's 'Tough Love' and Stevie Distanislao for follow up '2nd Avenue'. Additional guitars for IDLE CURE's 1990 album come courtesy of Tom and Doug Pierce. GIANT guitarist Dan Huff adds session guitar for 1994's 'Eclipse'.
