Ska-influenced alternative CCM quartet Mayfair Laundry was formed by longtime friends and musical collaborators Frank Sandoval (guitar), Paul Dexter (bass) and David Snow (drums) in 1996. With the recruitment of vocalist Shannon Woolner, the group issued its debut LP Scrub in 1997, followed two years later by New and Improved sporting a nearly entirely new line-up and featuring new vocalist Kim Sipus.
