Christian music fans were first introduced to Paul Alan when he was the lead singer for the band Nouveaux in the 1990s. They released two albums, Beginnings in 1994 and …And This Is How I Feel in 1996, on Benson Records.
In 2001, Paul released his first solo project, Falling Awake, for the short-lived Aluminum Records. He scored hits with the singles "She's The Reason" and "Leaving Lonely."
His second solo album, Drive It Home, was released in 2008. A single from that album, "To Bring You Back," was a hit on the Christian radio charts.
