Societys Finest has seen many ups and downs over their 10-year career, but have used the experience to grow and mature, both as people and as a band. After a hiatus in 2003, during which time singer Joshua Ashworth toured with ZAO, the band reformed stronger than ever, and signed with Hand of Hope Records. Their Hand of Hope debut, Love, Murder, and a Three Letter Word, released in June of 2004, received both critic and fan praise and Societys Finest quickly became one of the best-selling bands on the label.
After touring on and off the the past few years. The band had come to a crossroads. What to do next? The band took some time off to reflect and live life. Josh, Eli, Nick & Guy brought back founding member Joel Bailey to help hold down the bass duties. The newest addition to the fold is an old friend of the band. Jesse Smith made his name as the beat machine behind metal powerhouse Zao and will be playing drums on the new record. Now, with a new perspective on the world and music itself, Society's Finest is poised to make it's next move. Currently writing and in production for their next release, the band is more focused than ever. They are currently locked away in hammering out songs that will become the sum of a band who have influenced many of todays biggest metal acts.
