Legacy is a nationally known Christian vocal group whose sound has been compared to many world-renowned groups such as Take 6, Glad, Acappella and the Gaither Vocal Band. The group consists of Clint Dickerson, Marty Baker, Josh Wheeler and Jake Lierman. With their mission to serve the church, share the gospel with unbelievers and to encourage existing believers through a cappella music, Legacy is consistently drawing in listeners of all ages. Their sound is described as fresh and exciting, and they have developed their own captivating style that brings listeners into a worshipful arena.


Originally getting their start in the fall of 2002 while in college together, Legacy only lasted for about a year. After a summer tour in 2003, the guys felt that God was calling them to do other things with their lives and they decided to put the group on hold for a while. Over the next three year God took the guys in Legacy many different places all over the country. Some of them graduated and got married, some moved off to pursue other music ministry opportunities, but one thing remained constant with all of them; they remembered what a powerful ministry Legacy had been and they all longed to do music ministry together again.


At the end of 2006 God brought the guys back together again and put a calling on their hearts to start the ministry of Legacy again. Over the next two years the guys spent time touring part-time on the weekends and during the summers, ministering to hundreds of churches all over the U.S. They were also able to independently raise the funds to produce and record two albums, which both received radio play across the U.S. and were able to minister to thousands of people. In 2009, Legacy felt the call from God to take their ministry from a part time ministry to a full time ministry, traveling on a weekly basis, encouraging people through their passion for music.


Legacy feels very humbled and very blessed that God has called them to be a part of such a powerful ministry. It is amazing to see how God has worked in each of these young men’s lives over the past few years, and how He has been preparing them for this ministry He has called them to do.
