Enter the Worship Circle is a series of albums containing songs written from the psalms by a collection artists who are friends. Ben and Robin Pasley produce this series and might also be known by their former musical entity 100 Portraits. Enter the Worship Circle was created for small groups who needed a simple approach to worship music that they could follow and recreate in their services, or homes. The songs are purposefully easy to play with simple chords and song structures and the lyrics and chord charts to all songs are available for free at their website www.entertheworshipcircle.com. Ben and Robin wanted these albums to equip the family not only to use these songs in their own worship times, but to inspire the Family that writing worship music was easy...with a "you can do it, too" attitude behind the albums. The First Circle even contains a "how to" guide in the liner notes. The primary series includes the First, Second, Third, and Fourth Circle. The First Circle was released in 1999 with 100 Portraits and Waterdeep. This Circle Series is focused on collegiates and small groups, and is a worship collection featuring hand drums, acoustic guitars, and a passionate vocal team. The second series is called Chair and Microphone and it has Volume 1 (Ben Pasley), Volume 2 (Aaron Strumpel), and Volume 3 (Karla Adolphe). It features one voice and one instrument in a very simple, vulnerable style. The third series is the Village Thrift--a fusion of modern electronic and very progressive songwriting for the urbanite and lover of all things innovative. Circa 2005 is available now.
