Sonia Martinez's gospel music ministry began over ten years ago at her local church in Houston, and later expanded to district confrences and surrounding churches. Throughout the course of her ten years in ministry, she has sung in numerous funerals, weddings, quinceanearas and other Christian events.

With a full time job, a husband anf five children, it seemed virtually impossible to accomplish her goal and relize her dreams of releasing an album. With the extra push, and hard work of her husband Mario. A Martinez, she began recording her music in mid 2007, and would continue juggling a hectic schedule for months at a time. Her recording came to an abrupt halt in late September, when her husband departed to be with the Lord, whitch was heartrending for her and five children.

Altough her intentions were to quit her music project after the tragic incident, her heart was set on delivering what she had lived and experienced through lyrics of the songs she wrote. It was the memories of God's grace and mercy shininh upon her children, who have diligently seeking God, from the eldest boy-Mario Jr, who was dedicated drum player for their church since the age of six, to the youngest girl, who yearned to sing for the glory of God. It was that same grace that shone upon her husband. Her son Joseph Martinez, would receive his minister's licence at age thirteen during her music project as well, whitch brought happiness to both Sonia and her husband. Her joyous momentums and trials and tribulations, have both turned her to the Lord to offer thanksgiving and seek comfort. Conclusively, her realization with life's experience is that every battle fought with the Lord on our side is a victorious one; she helps instill hope and encouragement into people's heart with the music she shares.

Sonia Martinez currently resides in Houston, TX with her five children, as she has dedicated her life to writing and singing gospel music and raising her children in God's path. God is credited in her music for having fully restored her husband before he departed, and providing comfort and the strngth to fulfill her ministry. It is through her music, that she is able to convey the message of hope, restoration and salvation to many throughout different areas of the world.
