Chris Fedun was the typical boy living near downtown Nashville. His mother and father both blue collar workers were just making ends meet. This was no concern to Chris for his love of life kept him happy. Raised as the younger sibling to a very sport oriented brother, Chris became involved in little league baseball and basketball. However, even with his all star father of a coach Chris wasn't focused on the game. Chris felt it necessary to entertain everyone that would watch him. At the age of 9 with much encouragement from friends and family Chris was enrolled in dance and gymnastics. After 4 months of dance Chris was asked to join a competitive team. Chris was taken under the wing of his dance teacher and was showcased at various events. He began stage work and vocal lessons at Opryland. Once Chris began to dance and entertain he felt a sense of embarrassment because other children his age thought of him differently. Luckily about this time Nashville schools started its Magnet school program introducing a new Arts Middle School and High School. Chris instantly became the talk of the school with his dance, singing and acting skills. He was the lead in both the Fall and Spring performances each year. At the Spring performance, a manager for a new Christian teen group attended specifically to see Chris perform after hearing about him. After the performance she approached him to see if he was interested in being part of a Christian teen band. This was just the beginning for Chris. The next 8 years would be devoted to performing and recording as one of the leading top Christian teen bands with Disney influence and support. Chris has recently turned 21 and with his bands support is ready to embark out on his own.
After 8 years Jump5 will be ending 2007 with the Hello and Goodbye tour. This will enable Chris to resume what he started many years ago.
