HB  is a Christian symphonic metal band formed in 2002 in Forssa, Finland. After having released a demo in 2002 HB have since released four albums: Uskon puolesta (2003) , Enne (2006),Frozen Inside (2008) and Piikki Lihassa (2008). In addition, they have released a single called Turhaa tärinää? (2004). The second album of the band, Enne, spent four weeks on the official Finnish Top 40 peaking at #27.[1] The sound of the album is similar to that of Nightwish and Within Temptation.[2] The divergence between the afore-mentioned bands and HB is primarily that the lyrics, written by Antti Niskala, are written in the Finnish and are strongly spiritual. The group has since re-recorded an English version of Enne titled Frozen Inside, which was released on April 23, 2008. The album peaked in its debut at #15 on the Finnish Top 40 remaining in the top 30 the next week, finishing at #25.[3] For the year 2008 the band has been working on a new album. This new album is called Piikki Lihassa and has been released. A song of the new album can be heard on HB's myspace account.

The original drummer, Samuel Mäki-Kerttula, left the band at the Maata Näkyvissä Festival in November 2007, who was replaced by Markus Malin. Tuomas Mäki-Kerttula left the band at the Maata Näkyvissä Festival in November 2008.
