Since the summer of 2002, Seven Stories Up front man Andy Rocker knew that his calling in life was to lead people into the presence of God through music. For six years Rocker traveled around the southeast and other parts of the country leading worship for various churches and youth groups with the sole task of helping people experience and encounter the King of the universe.
Now signed to VSR Music Group, Rocker and his band now have the vehicle to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to a much wider audience. “It’s not about us; it’s not really about the music,” says Rocker. “It's about the fact that we, as a band, have been given a message of hope and restoration! We are placing Christ at the helm of this and following where He leads; He is our compass.”
Rocker and the guys are really excited to see where God takes them. With opportunities arising for ministry all over the world, they’re really pressing into the Word of God to make the right decisions and go exactly where He wants them to go. “We’ve already seen some really amazing things in the short time we’ve been playing as a band. We’ve seen people healed of things as small as headaches and as big as broken or out of place bones. We know that God wants to use us merely as vessels to show people how great He really is and how amazing His love is,” says Rocker.
So if all you’re looking for is a concert, then these guys aren’t really for you. They won’t just come in and play 5 or 6 songs and be done. They’re ready to see lives changed. “Each night is different, and each encounter with our God is legendary, that is what makes our job so much fun!”

Amazing Lyrics!| Posted June 11, 2009
I bought that album...and it is awesome, from start to finish!
However...the song "Refuge" has probably some of the coolest lyrics I have EVER heard!
..."Jesus, Lord of all creation...healer of the nations...You who cause our hearts to dream again...Jesus, life to all dead places...we will sing You praises...we will worship You!"
It has been a really long time since I've heard something that resonated so deeply in my soul! Not trying to be too dramatic here...but we've been through the loss of a son...and there were times when I truly thought my heart may never recover...
This song speaks hope...
Thanks so much for sharing this amazing song! Keep up the great work!!
