About LIFTED
We are an Indie Christian rock and worship band from Folkestone, England. We started out as some of the new 'younger' guys in the worship team at Life Church UK in Folkestone. Young and with not much experience we were eager to learn and relied on our trust in God to sound at all like musicians back in 2003, however through our willingness we got together some nights just to practice and play and realised that we were starting something special 'something real and true'. Since then we've been working/practicing hard and with some additional members joining the band, started to lead as a youth band at the church's monthly event called the source, writing from our hearts,lives and experiences songs such as Different light and Be my rescue. There is such a real enjoyment and energy in what is happening within the community of young people in folkestone. We have recorded and just released our first EP called Different Light and are writing more inspiring songs for the future so watch this space...!!.
