Reflect has at its core the husband-and-wife duo, Daniel and Catherine Lovett who have been making music together since 2000. Their music can be described as honest, mellow folk, personal in tone, yet universal in reach, with songs that are full of depth, character and an underlying sense of peace. Influences include Sara Groves, Ginny Owens, Watermark, 100 Portraits, and Kathryn Scott, to name a few.
Our band name is “Reflect” which comes from 2 Corinthians 3: 18 “All of us have had that veil removed so that we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more.” There is more information about us and our music at our website: www.reflectworship.com
Daniel and Catherine have a passion for seeing God minister to others through music and have been sharing the songs God has given them at regional concert venues, churches, and festivals for the past several years. They are also worship leaders at Appleton Vineyard Church in Wisconsin.
Reflect's music features acoustic mellow rock instrumentation, folk influences, a subtle use of vocal harmony, major key tonality, and lyrics that bring honor to Yeshua (Jesus). Reflect seeks to please the One who made them, and also to serve His body the church. They invite you to use these songs as your own personal prayers and praise to God.
Their self-titled debut album has a live sound, as if the band were right there in your living room worshiping with you. In their songs they convey a sense of intimacy and a passion for God’s presence. Their latest release is a peaceful acoustic collection of classic hymns.
