Bo Warren has been traveling the country for the past several years leading worship and playing concerts for people of all ages. He has shared the stage with Chris Rice, Brian Littrell (of the Backstreet Boys), Point of Grace, and Chris Tomlin. His groove oriented guitar playing and lyrical insight has garnered the songwriter notable attention with listeners and record companies alike. "Rescue Plan" marks Bo's first collaboration with veteran producer Stephen Gause (Downhere, Laura Story, Nathan Angelo) and is a benchmark in the songwriter's catalogue. Part worship and part reflection, "Rescue Plan" breaks out of the typical worship album mold by taking the listener through a panoply of musical style and lyrical substance. The first song, "Created For," is a declaration of the innate need of every being to worship the everlasting God. This co-write between Gause and Warren is filled with the call to worship and to fulfill the need put in the heart of every human being. The title track, “Rescue Plan,” is the most aggressive song on the album and is a prayer for salvation. “Savior” is a poignant reflection on Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. The fourth song, “Who You Are,” is a groove oriented worship song that captures the listener both musically and lyrically. The album ends with “Come Believe” a true ballad that acts as an invitation to a weary world to come surrender and come believe. This is album is a representation of the plan of salvation. The need to commune with God, the prayer for salvation, the sacrifice, the rejoicing and thanksgiving, and the invitation for others to come and be saved. “This is what we were created for!”
