Forming in December 2004, 3Nails is a group of men and women with a desire to reach the world with words of hope and love in God through salvation! With a mixture of in your face rock rifts to a methodical praise filled ballad, 3Nails is here to let everyone know that they have hope in God. 3Nails has truly been blessed by God! In a little over a year there have been numerous people come to know God and many have been touched by the annointing and power in which they sing and play. Having written nearly 15 original songs and gotten the opportunity to play in bars, cafes, and churches, 3Nails is out to reach the people no one else is willing to reach! Jesus says, "If there is one sheep that gets away from the flock, doesn’t the Shepard leave the 99 to go after the one?" That is the mission of 3Nails: To go wherever they need to go to reach that one soul! Music is a big part of our lives, ranging from southern gospel to emo/screamo to praise and worship to hip-hop and hard rock/metal, we all have had a passion for music for a very long time! When you get to know the members of 3Nails, you realize they want to offer more than just music though. “I didn’t write the song “Catchphrase” for it to be a popular song or for it be cool, I wrote that song because I felt that people had put God under the burner and left Him there until they needed something from him and then they would call on him,” says Phil Reed. “Brand New” is a song written after Singer Heather Walriven gave her life to God. She wrote it as a poem 2 years ago, and when the band came together music was put to it and you have the title track “Brand New!” “Struggles Undone” is a song co-written by Phil Reed and Josh Walriven, which talks about how everyone in life has struggles but when you come to know Christ, He can take all your struggles away. "Broken Soul" is another song that Heather Walriven wrote on the hood of her car. She had been going through some personal things in her life and just like all the other songs, God gave her the words. "I had basically reached a point where I wanted to go that extra mile for God but, I constantly reminded myself of my faults and failures. God told me that night just to run to him... No matter how broken I was, he was there waiting with open arms." Shawn Miller was there with her to put the music with the song. Daniel Neal wrote the song “That’s Why” simply because he wanted to let God know in written words why he lives his life for Him and the reasons he has, regardless of what is going on, to praise the God that saved his life from suicide and depression! 3Nails loves music more then most, but more importantly they love the God that saved their life!
